Our clients approached us with a vision to completely renovate their backyard, which previously featured an Olympic-sized pool, a concrete pool deck, and hard-to-maintain gardens. Our goal was to create an inviting outdoor living space that maximizes room for entertaining while allowing the homeowners to enjoy their backyard on a daily basis. By incorporating their wish-list and drawing inspiration from the traditional New England Shingle-style home and the client’s summer residence in Florida, our team is bringing to life a playful design that showcases various textures, colors, curves, and focal points. Every feature in this project was custom designed and built by our skilled masons and craftsmen, specializing in masonry and stonework tailored to the client's taste. This project boasts numerous stunning details including a custom-sourced and built travertine and bluestone patio, a 14ft long curved outdoor kitchen complete with a grill, outdoor storage, and a kitchen backsplash, and a custom-built 3-post granite water feature that flows directly off the patio. We also designed landscape lighting to illuminate the space at night, and a 65ft long stone veneered wall that adds depth and retains the hillside. The crown jewel of this hardscape installation is the impressive fireplace, complete with firewood storage boxes and connected sitting benches that are seamlessly integrated into the landscape. With a 4ft wide firebox, this fireplace stands out as one of the largest on the Northshore or in the Merrimack Valley, complementing the overall outdoor living experience.
